MEMAS Nigeria is the only exhibition exclusively on metals, machinery and steel, which will be held in Lagos, the business and trade capital of Nigeria. Base metals and metal products are mainly used by oil and construction industry, where both the Nigerian government and private sector is heavily investing in. Machinery imports include a wide variety of goods and vast majority of machinery imports are used by oil and mining industry. Being a member state of ECOWAS, Nigeria acts as a trade gateway to other West African states.
